BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join a company providing cutting edge audio visual solutions for major brands across the globe. Based in Kent (inside m25), you will work as part of the business development team to help the company grow, winning new profitable business and increasing the company’s funnel of opportunities.
Duties to include:
·Create and execute a business plan that targets new business in both current and new segments
·Identify, pursue and secure business opportunities across the company’s portfolio as well as in alternative business segments to diversify the client base.
·Be responsible for client proposals and communication initiatives.
·Lead the response to tenders, using available resources to ensure quality and accurate response.
·Be accountable for the accuracy and timelines of monthly forecasts and business reporting.
·Attend networking events with clients, consultants and suppliers to advance company goals.
Candidates must have a proven track record in establishing and growing new business in a b2b environment. You must have strong influencing skills at C level, as well as excellent negotiation skills. You must have knowledge and experience in the audio-visual or related industry.
