Established in Beijing in November 2002, CKGSB is an independent business school. Since its founding, CKGSB has achieved prominence with more than 40 full-time professors having earned PhDs or held tenured faculty positions at leading business schools such as Harvard, Wharton and Stanford. More than half of CKGSB’s 10,000+ alumni are at the CEO or Chairman level and, together, their companies accounted for one sixth of China’s GDP in 2015.

Based in London, the mission of CKGSB Europe is to help European companies to develop an elite understanding of China and to learn how to successfully do business with China via CKGSB’s customized executive programs and our enormously influential alumni networks.

The role - Public Relations Manager, London

CKGSB’s office in London has a vacancy for a Public Relations Manager. This role involves the planning and delivery of educational seminars, events and programs, the development and design of marketing materials and promotion of our programs through multiple social media channels. Managing our relationship with key stakeholders, customers, partners and the media is a key aspect of the role. The Public Relations Manager is expected to be a team player and leader in raising awareness of CKGSB’s brand significantly to support our growth target.

Duties and responsibilities


• Manage the design, content and production of program specific marketing brochures in hard copies and on website

• Drive the planning, organisation and delivery of educational seminars, conferences, events to engage with prospective clients

• Manage the quality of tailored program design to key customers

• Attend relevant conferences, workshops and industry related events on school’s behalf and staying abreast of the latest market trends to identify business opportunities

• Manage program specific financial budget

Social media marketing

• Manage and promote company’s brand image across all print and digital channels

• Establish a full social media presence across multiple platforms including Linkdin, WeChat, Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook accounts

• Manage the content quality and ensure all posts are published in time with necessary follow ups where appropriate

• Prepare, publish and distribute school bi-weekly newsletter via Mailchimp and Salesforce on school’s latest news

• Manage and analyse the effectiveness of PR campaigns through multiple platforms, e.g. Mailchimp; analyse the data collected and make recommendations to the management team

Support to team

• Give recommendations to senior management team on developing innovative programs

• Report regularly to line manager and work closely with team members to plan and execute projects

• Liaise with business development team to identify target audience and support in achieving sales targets

Relationship building

• Build and develop partnerships with new educational institutions and European organizations while maintaining and strengthening the relationships with existing stakeholders

• Carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company and managers as required

Education and experience

• Degree in a Business or related discipline

• Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal ) as will liaise on a daily basis with clients and partners of the business in both China and Europe

• A high level of written Chinese is essential as will be required to produce marketing and promotional materials in Chinese

• Excellent IT skills on Salesforce, proficient in Mailchimp and Eventbrite, and strong Microsoft excel and PPT skills

• Knowledge of social media marketing management skills within Chinese community

• Understanding of China’s educational sector

• Experience of working in both Chinese and British business cultures is preferred

Salary: £ 32,300
