Our client's vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions.

They are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to work within their newly acquired Bournemouth and Poole Outreach Service. As the Outreach Manager you will be the lead manager for the Outreach team; managing eight staff and working with our client and other Agencies to deliver a service that:

  • Reduces rough sleeping on the streets to as near to zero as possible
  • Reduces anti-social behaviour and hotspots associated with rough sleeping
  • Sustain clients off the streets and enable them to reach their life goals.
  • Prevents new clients from sleeping rough

To be successful you will have demonstrable experience of taking a lead in developing social care, housing or health services, and of motivating complex and diverse client groups to sustaining housing, health and or work outcomes.

You will also have the ability to supervise and motivate a staff team, as well as to network and build effective working relationships in a multi-agency context. An understanding of the services and legislative environment regarding, housing and health, work and immigration as it relates to homeless people is also essential.

In return, they offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and flexible working to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. They are also committed to providing their staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development

If you believe that you have what they are looking for, and have an interest in working for a charity which makes a real difference to the lives of people who are homeless, they would love to hear from you.
