Multiple positions for Support Officers required, all around London and offering a competitive salary of £22k
Your new company
You will be working for a leading provider of housing, care and support services based in London and the South East. They are currently recruiting for a Support Officer specialising in the mental health.
Your new role
As a Support Officer your main responsibility will be to coordinate and assist in the assessments and appointments for all new customers through a support planning system. You will also be required to coordinate and carry out assessments to identify and prioritise the needs of the customers. Furthermore you will use SMART goal planning to provide needs led holistic support and create an environment that promotes opportunities for customers to develop, learn and enable skills towards independence. Lastly, you will need to administer medication when required and ensure appropriate records are maintained.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Support Officer specialising in mental health you will need to be working across a 24/7 rota. Also it is essential to have previous housing experience or equal experience with a specialist mental health provider. Furthermore you will need to understand the safeguarding of children and adults. Lastly, to be sufficient at using Microsoft packages and excellent team work skills, demonstrating both collaboration and respect with peers and customers.
