The company

Our client is a progressive law firm based in North London. They have been serving the local community for over 100 years. They were established in 1899 and are a very successful law firm. They are located near Enfield Chase railway station, a short walk from Enfield Town station and within a mile of A10.

The Role

Following internal reorganisation a role for a legal cashier is currently available. This role ensures all day to day transactions across both client and office bank accounts are processed accurately, within appropriate deadlines and in line with SAR. Duties will include checking and approving completion statements on all property transactions; logging, reviewing and allocating incoming client funds; inputting client payments and obtaining appropriate authorisation in advance of deadlines; banking of all client and office account cheques; processing all outgoing payments and generally assisting the Accounts Manager.

Requirements

At least 1+ years` experience of account rules

At least 1+ years working experience of legal software

At least 1+ years` experience of working as a legal cashier

At least 1+ years` experience of working in property completion work

Key Skills

Attention to detail

Accuracy

Ability to work to deadlines

Previous legal cashier experience

Extensive and up to date knowledge of the Solicitor Account Rules (SAR)

Experience of legal accounting software, ideally SOS Connect
