Maintenance Technician (Dayshift)
Do you love the hustle and bustle of working shifts and everything that goes with it? If so, get in touch and I’ll tell you about some other roles I have because this one is not for you! If you are sick of shifts or your circumstances suit coming off shifts and you are looking for a stable job with a global manufacturer, working a permanent dayshift of 7.00am to 3.30pm (3.00 on a Friday) then give me a call!
In this role you’ll get to utilise all of your technical experience gathered in your maintenance career and also develop new skills on machinery that will be new to you. You’ll be supporting the shift team who focus on reactive maintenance although your primary focus will be on planned predictive maintenance on all manufacturing assets in the facility.
You’ll have access to overtime should you want it which would be paid at premium rates and you’ll be working for a consultative business that value their people and are striving to continually improve so that they can provide a rewarding career for their employees.
What do they need from you in return:
• To have served a recognised maintenance apprenticeship
• Good technical skill in electrical maintenance with a solid mechanical foundation
• Knowledge of control systems such as Allen Bradley PLC’s, SCADA and Rockwell
• Good communication skills
You could have gathered this experience in any variety of sectors such as manufacturing, FMCG, engineering or automotive and you could have as little as 1 years experience post apprenticeship or as much as 40 years industry experience. Either way, we’re interested in talking to you.
The salary bracket for this role is from £26.5k to £27.5k. A full job specification is available on request.
If this sounds interesting the first step is to apply with your CV or phone me. I’m not allowed to include phone numbers in adverts so you’ll have to look me up. Graeme Clark, Engineering Team Manager at CDM Recruitment.
