Senior Structural Engineer/Associate
Well established and reputable Civil/Structural Engineering Consultancy are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Chartered Structural Design Engineer to take on the primary lead function for their growing London office. The practice has over 50 staff in total with offices in several locations. The London office is currently at 10 staff with desk space available to double in size. This successful practice has been established for over 40 years with plenty of repeat business clients. They are Members of the Association of Consultants, have excellent links with the IStructE and ICE and operate a Quality Management Scheme compliant with ISO 9001.
You will need to come from a stable working background within a commercially minded building design organisation. You must have excellent technical skills with the ability to design in all the main materials, coupled with good team leading and client facing skills. Your role will include leading projects and attending representing the company at meetings, business development, liaising with clients and architects, visits to site and structural surveys. The firm is a highly client focused practice who ensure timely delivery and quality of projects. Projects are often contractor led developments such as residential and commercial buildings, large housing developments, hotels and schools - normally up to around £55m in value.
You should be Chartered MICE or MIStructE. This role would suit a candidate who is looking for promotion and progression and to take on responsibility within a supporting, established company. Associate prospects are very real with possible future profit share in the practice for the right candidate.
