Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager
Our client is looking for an Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager to join their beautiful hotel located near Dorking.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be part of the friendly team and help the manager organise functions and conferences for the popular hotel.
The hotel consists of 8 meeting rooms and can cater for up to 220 people for banqueting capacity, so is important for the successful candidate to be organised and methodical.
Some duties of the role include:
- Maintaining the hotel's conferences and functions
- Optimising sales and reducing costs where possible
- Keeping brand standards for the hotel
- Liaising with various suppliers/clients and customers
The candidate should have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong understanding of the hospitality environment
Hours: Full time - 40 hours a week
