We are looking for a Social Media Manager reporting to the Head of Social Media in the Brand Team to help implement the Company’s Social Media Strategy and drive the business forward in the digital marketplace. The role incorporates developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption.
Communication is key as the role will involve working alongside the PR, marketing and operational teams to support objectives, targets and budgets whilst ensuring a consistency in voice and cultivating a social media referral network.
The key aspects of the role will be to initiate and manage campaigns to grow Virgin Money and Virgin Money Giving’s online following and engagement levels as well as being an advocate of the business on all relevant social media platforms. Working collaboratively with teams from across the Virgin Money Business.
Candidates should have extensive experience of developing and managing social media campaigns, with an in-depth knowledge of the main social media platforms, as well as social media analytics and engagement tools including Hootsuite and Brandwatch. You’ll have excellent writing and communication skills and be able to generate content in real time including photography and video.

Salary from £35000 to £53000 (dependent on experience) plus a great range of benefits.
This role is on a permanent basis and will be based in the London office.
