We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At Anglia Revenues Partnership we are currently looking for a Council Tax Officer (Revenues) to support the team at West Suffolk Council or Breckland Council. You will join the team on a full time, part-time, temp or permanent basis and will receive a competitive starting salary between £17,072 - £17,128 per annum(pro rata).

The aim of Anglia Revenues Partnership is to run an efficient Council Tax collection and Housing Benefits distribution service while reducing administration costs to each council. By coming together, each council can save money by pooling resources and staff.

More about the Council Tax Officer (Revenues) role

The role involves compiling and maintaining client records, issuing bills, making amendments, setting up payment methods and verifying individual circumstances. The post holder will also monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are made and refer cases to the Enforcement Team. Daily liaison with external government agencies and internal teams is an essential part of the role and you will be expected to fully contribute to the team’s targets. To succeed in this role you should ideally be familiar with Council Tax regulations, able to retain process and procedural information across all Councils within the partnership. Full training will be provided and candidates successful in this role will be given the opportunity to progress to a higher role.

In this role you will deal with members of the public therefore demonstrable experience or understanding of customer care and excellent customer service skills are a necessity.
