Travel Sales Consultants
We are looking for two Junior Travel Sales Consultants, a Junior Marketing Associate and an Office Administrator ?to join our sales team.
The successful candidates? will be required to work 5 days a week, including some weekend work . This would suit an enthusiastic individual with an interest in the travel and tourism sector. Occasional overseas travel will be required in order to develop and maintain product knowledge and to build relationships with agents and owners. You would be provided with full training including the use of in-house reservations system.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
Responding to inbound telephone call and email/web enquiries (no cold calling)
Taking customer details and communicating in a polite and friendly way to identify the customer’s exact needs and requirements.
Using an in-house reservation system to process customer bookings
Generating sales leads using the existing client database
Liaising closely with other departments within the company as well as third party agents
Maintaining a strong working knowledge of the products and destinations offered
Additional administration duties as required
Excellent command of the English language
Have excellent organisational and planning skills
Be self-motivated and passionate about the tourism industry
Focus on customer service, giving advice on products and services as well as dealing with transactions via telephone and e-mail
A good telephone manner
A strong level of computer literacy
Be willing to take occasional trips abroad to view properties, develop knowledge of areas and liaise with agents
Able to work both on personal initiative and in a team environment
Have a full UK (or EU) driving licence
?A second language, preferably Greek or Spanish?
Well-travelled with a good knowledge of various holiday destinations
