We are looking for talented and motivated candidates with skills in Broadcasting / Live Streaming / Video skills to join a leading gaming company in West london.

Role 1 - Live Media Delivery Technician
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of delivering live streamed events and/or working in a live broadcasting facility and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, taking the initiative, managing multiple projects, and working under tight timeframes. S/he is also a motivated, self-starter with a passion for live streaming.
Responsible for all aspects of the live stream encoding package setup, operation, and strike. Before, during, and after an event, respectively.
Work in tandem with the Live Operations Manager, Team Leads and the Support Team to ensure the secure delivery of live event broadcasts sourced from around the globe.
Learn our platforms and advanced troubleshooting of our streaming architecture.
Get hands-on with hardware and software.

Excellent communication skills are necessary to take requirements from internal clients and liaise with staff.
Required qualifications
Experience with live video operations and live broadcast productions.
Live and On-Demand streaming experience (HD and SD) and an ability to support streaming software.
Broad understanding of video and audio encoding codecs.
Basic understanding of satellite and fiber acquisition pathways.
Basic understanding of video editing.
Experience in the gaming industry is a distinct advantage.
Typical day
Liaising with MCR to acquire Satellite and Fibre feeds.
Encoding those feeds to the right events on our bespoke, custom built platform.
QA and QC of all the live events the technician is handling.
Constant communication with the support team to ensure that all the information about the events is accurate and updated in real time.

Role 2 - Client Support Engineers
Responsibilities:
Monitor and QA live sports from around the world. Football, Tennis, Ice Hockey, International Basketball among many others
Provide fast and accurate customer service.
Learn our platforms and advanced troubleshooting of our streaming architecture.
Get hands-on with hardware and software.

Typical day
Confirming schedule of all live events for the day.
Monitoring data and video streams for quality and timeliness.
Thoroughly documenting all events, issues and customer interactions.
Provide fast, accurate customer service on platform and live event questions.
Onboarding next day’s schedule of events, confirm for accuracy.
Hand off all content and responsibilities to next shift.
