Their business has a simple purpose: to accelerate the recovery of the injured clients they support, whether this is via their remote clinical assessments and subsequent case management, face to face visits to home or employment by their specialist Case Managers, or providing support with and access to for third party treatment and support services. 

Since their inception in 2003 they have helped many thousands of injured clients get back to work and / or their pre-injury function after injury of accident. Their customers are some of the largest insurers, solicitors and employers in the UK. 

They have a real focus on using digital services and technologies to aid this recovery, and their growing IT & Digital Services team represents a strategic investment for their business. 

Position: Software Developer 
Location: Croydon 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 5:30pm 
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependant on experience

About the role: 

As the Software Developer, you’ll work in a Scrum environment, spending most of your time working on new digital healthcare capabilities for their customers and critical new features to support their case management teams in accelerating the recovery of our clients. Where possible you’ll liaise directly with business stakeholders when designing and developing solutions. 

You’ll mostly be working on building and supporting their web based Case Management System, their customer-facing health portals and digital platforms for their injured clients. You’ll do this using the latest Microsoft ASP.NET [1]MVC 5 / Core 1.1+ and associated stack where possible, and will help migrate their ASP.NET [2] MVC and Web API systems to ASP.NET [3] Core, using a micro-services architecture. You’ll be comfortable using, (or ramping up quickly on) UX technologies and tools including TypeScript, Knockout, Angular (2 / 4) and KendoUI. 

You’ll work on multiple projects, providing peer reviews to help your colleagues grow and develop and broaden your own knowledge, as well as participating in scrum ceremonies, architecture forums and general HCML “life” (staff meetings, socials etc.). 

You’re a talented developer who’s comfortable working in a small team and liaising directly with business stakeholders, and who wants to make a difference, quickly. You’re certainly not a Cowboy Coder, but you’re not a Theoretician or a stickler for the rules either – you want to develop great software, and see the benefits when it’s in use in their business. 

You will have experience of the following: 

- C#. 
- ASP.NET [4] MVC or WebAPI. 
- JavaScript. 
- TypeScript. 
- ORM experience, ideally EF. 
- GIT. 
- ASP.NET [5] Core. 
- Knockout, Angular 2+ or Kendo UI. 
- Node / NPM. 
- Associated Microsoft tools e.g. SharePoint, EWS or Azure. 

You may have experience of the following: Software Developer, ASP.Net [6], C#, Programmer, Developer, Software Engineer, IT, Information Technology, Azure, Programming, DevOps, Software Programmer, SQL Server, XML, Web Developer etc.
