What? Sales Development Representative
The Graduate Sales Development Representative is the first part of the customer journey at Brightedge. You will be targeting brand name clients and speaking to heads of Marketing and Digital. Brightedge will pay you a healthy basic salary of £26,000 and there are frequent incremental pay rises based on performance. Gary Lenaghan is the Graduate Sales Manager - he ran the Graduate Sales team at IBM and is passionate about turning graduates into successful salespeople. He will be there to support you through the tough parts of the role. Gary loves to reward his team: he takes them out for dinners, lunches and drinks in Covent Garden, and he even flew three team members to Disney Land in Florida to say well done for their performance.
The Graduate Sales Development Representatives are the beating heart of Brightedge and the company mentality is to promote from within. Brightedge would expect you to spend a minimum of one year in this role before being promoted into an Account Executive Position, where you would run your own accounts and clients. Top performing Account Executives have earned enough money to put deposits down on houses in London after working at Brightedge for just two years after University.
