Sheridan Maine are working with a Waste Management company who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave for 6 months. There is the possibility of the role going permanent due to an increase in business.

You will be required to assist the Financial Controller in the day to day running of the Accounts Department.

Primary Responsibilities include:

- Invoicing and corrections.
- Create and send monthly statements.
- Credit checking customers and creating new accounts.
- Export transactions from company software - Sage.
- Daily allocation of payments.
- Creating Pro Formas.
- Debt collecting.
- Produce month end debtors reports.
- Daily payment reconciliation.
- Purchase Ledger.
- Various month end duties.
- Credit card reconciliation.
- Maintain various waste reports.
- Answer phones and assist in other duties as needed.

Desired skills:

- Sage 50 Accounts.
- Experience in Excel and Word programmes.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Capable of multitasking under pressure.
- Adaptable and organised.

Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. Free parking is available.
