Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Company:

Tier 1 Main Contractor – Education, Commercial, Healthcare, High-Rise, Regeneration


Would suit someone based in the Surrey, Hampshire OR Southern Berkshire area


£65000 - £70000 + Full Corporate Package (Car / Car allowance, Medical, Pension etc)

The Role:

Openside Networks have teamed up with one of the UK’s leading and most sought after main contractors to help them source an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on a £15m education design and build project based in the Surrey / Hampshire borders area.
As the commercial lead, you will be part of the senior delivery team have full commercial accountability for this fantastic project along with developing a small commercial team.

Some of the duties will include:

• Sub-contract procurement
• Commercial Management
• Manage Sub-Contract Accounts and Variations
• Manage/Develop Assistant Quantity Surveyors

What we are looking for:

You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor who has experience working within a main contractor environment on D&B OR New Build commercial, education, healthcare OR high-rise projects. You will hold relevant qualifications and / or certifications. As this role will have a team attached to it, you will have ideally have been exposed to team management and development. You will have excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships and communicate well across all levels of the organization. Knowledge of JCT essential.
