My client is a leading provider of office supplies and technology and they are currently recruiting because of business growth and success over the past year. Passionate about customer service and building relationships my client believes that being a local business with a first-class service is the key to their success.

The role of the Business Development Executive is to generate income for the company by prospecting potential clients and generating leads, making appointments and account managing existing customers to ensure continual growth of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop a pipeline of opportunities and utilise the CRM system
• Promote company products
• Secure appointments with potential clients
• Working to KPI’s
• Build relationships with potential and existing clients
• Profile introductions into businesses
• Respond to customer enquiries
• To be involved with projects such as business improvement

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher and databases
• Knowledge of LinkedIn is desirable
• Experience of working in a B2B outbound calling environment
• Enthusiastic and passionate about sales
• Able to work using own initiative
• Smart and well presented
• Excellent telephone manner
• Creative
• Driven to succeed
• Results driven
