Field Manager – Building Maintenance and Hard FM
Felixstowe, Suffolk
£35-40,000 per annum + car allowance / car

Main Purpose of the Role:

To manage building maintenance and hard FM work across a number of teams on the Water utilities framework.

Key Duties and Responsibilities.

Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the company and its customers to safe and timely completion of work within budget.
Ensure that risk assessments and method statements are carried out and followed and that staff conform to all instructions.
Provide immediate, authoritative, guidance and discipline on SHE matters. Ensuring that accidents and near misses are suitably reported, recorded and investigated and that remedial action is carried out promptly.
Manage all customer-related processes in line with the company’s Integrated Management System.
Assist with management and resolution of customer complaints.
Take overview of work activities to be completed, and co-ordinate use of all resources including people, materials and equipment for effective and timely completion of work.
Monitor and report on progress of work to the Project Manager, and others as required.
Liaising with client contacts, subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure resources are delivered to appropriate sites in accordance with project plans.
Assist in costing schemes for quotation
Complete appropriate records in an accurate and timely manner. E.g. site measurement, work record sheets, risks assessments and site safety inspections
Induct and support new employees/team members, review performance and identify training needs of staff reporting to you.

Skills and Experience Required:

Previous experience as a Site Supervisor/Site Manager or similar
Project Management skills
A good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and processes
Environmental awareness
IT literate
CAT & Genny trained

Qualifications Required:

HNC or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
Full driving licence
SMSTS
NRSWA Supervisor
First Aid trained
