The Estates and Facilities team provide professional advice and support regarding the management of building related issues across the estates, office accommodation moves, health and safety and fire safety. The team is responsible for liaising with the landlord where the building is managed by a third party. The team provides and promotes a safe and comfortable and working environment giving advice and support on any building and facilities matters, including refurbishment of building to improve the working environment for all.

The role is for a Senior Project Surveyor. The key focus of this role is to support the Estate and Facilities (E&F) team and other estates colleagues in ensuring the effective delivery of all aspects of the Estate and Facilities programme across the organisation and respective partners. To support the Estate and Facilities team in all aspects of the projects delivery and where required supervise contractors and technical staff on site.

Ensure contract compliance for all construction contracts for Estate and Facilities Services. Be responsible for producing Technical documents/ reports/ drawings, specifications in sufficient detail to enable information to be used in all areas of Estate and Facilities Services.

This role will include the undertaking of audits to ensure robust systems and competencies are in place and are managed appropriately by the contractors and Estates and facilities services. Effectively communicate with all levels of the origination both internal and external on complex and sensitive data. To support the initiation and delivery of the project through the creation and support of project controls, governance support and delivery of appropriate work pages to support the delivery of this organisational and cultural change projects
