Food & Beverage Director

Salary: €50,000 – 60,000

Our client is a leading International Premium Catering business who are looking for a Food & Beverage Director to lead their expansion throughout Germany. From the glamorous galas to the unusual pop-up restaurant to the company's own street food market there is plenty of movement between tradition and innovation, creating inspiring overall concepts, with the aim of being ahead of the competitors on quality and experience.

Role

* Manage all Food and Beverage Outlet operations and regular presence throughout the outlets

* Create concepts for new outlets and optimise existing outlets
* Commit to guest satisfaction and developing service standards to exceed guest expectations

* Recruit, manage, train and develop the Food and Beverage team and Outlet Managers

* Work within budgeted guidelines, analyze and identify financial opportunities including cost controls, productivity levels, and revenue generation

* Establish and maintain accurate inventory records
* Set targets and objectives, budgets, and policies and procedures

* Manage relationships with vendors; assist in negotiating agreements

* Lead on tender applications and associate budgets

* Responsible for all financial targets, budgets and national F&B budget performance

Your qualifications

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in comparable positions managing several outlets at the same time

* Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations

* Able to meet financial targets

* Ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously

* Excellent negotiation and sales skills

* Responsible, committed, reliable and structured functioning

* Independent and result-oriented work style
* Degree/diploma in Hospitality Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Fluent German, English languages are key
