The FRCE Recruitment Group are currently recruiting experienced cooks to work within a Nursing Home in Slough.

The Successful applicant will be responsible for...
- Plan meals for a fixed period with the Home Manager and Head Cook.
- Ensure meals are of a high quality, content and appetizingly presented, and that food safety guidelines are followed at all times.
- Liaise with Nursing Staff to ensure that residents' dietary needs are being met at all times. Meet with Resident's to discuss dietary needs.
- Ensure proper and economic use of foodstuffs within budget limits.
- Supervise Kitchen Assistants and ensure that they understand their duties, and perform them to a high standard.
- Ensure that the dining tables are laid correctly for meals and the dining room is clean at all times.
-Ensure that all appropriate records are in place in accordance with Environmental Health, and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority Guidelines.
- Be helpful and polite to residents and visitors at all times.
- Report all complaints to the Home Manager/ Deputy Manager/Head Cook and assist with investigations when required.
- Be flexible and take direction from Head Cook.

You must:
* Hold a valid DBS (Preferably registered with the online service checker)
* Be able to provide references covering the last 5 years
* Have all Mandatory Care Training up to date, or be prepared to complete this prior to being placed into any shifts - FRCE can assist with your training needs if required
