I am looking for a community services manager to join an inspirational and innovative care provider.

You will join a leading recognised provider of care and housing support for adults with learning disabilities, complex care needs and sensory impairments.

Based at the company head office, you will manage and provide a community care service that is committed to making a difference to the lives of the people they support. Currently rated "GOOD" with CQC, you will provide supernumerary management support from the company head office and across services in North Birmingham, the Black Country and Wolverhampton

Overseeing all the operational day to day management aspects of a community care provision, you will also play a key role in developing and growing the service whilst working within performance management targets.

In addition you will oversee care referralls and assessments, the development and production of person centred care plans and ensure that all care delivered is in line with CQC guidelines.

Staff management, rotas, recruitment and finance management will also be a significant part of the community services manager role.

As the care manager, you will also play a key role in the branch "on call" responsibilities.

A key element of the community services manager position is to develop and grow new and existing contracts and meet specific management targets.

A compassionate, care focussed and professional individual, you will adopt a "can do" attitude to care and be committed to managing a service that guarantees independence, autonomy, privacy and dignity.

To be successfully considered for the role of community services manager, you will be able to demonstrate a significant background within the home/community care sector and be confident that you can grow and develop this service. You will have excellent communication skills and financial awareness. The QCF level 5 in health and social care or equivalent and a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle is ESSENTIAL to be shortlisted for this exciting job role.

As this community care service provides care for clients with various diagnoses, you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of supporting people with learning disabilities, older adults, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.

This exciting and sort after registered care manager vacancy is offering a highly competitive salary between £30000 and £32000 per annum. You will also receive a generous annual leave allowance, paid mileage and benefit from continued training and development opportunities.

Applying for this vacancy could not be easier. Applications can be made via email or through the BS Social Care website
