We are looking for a Marketing & Sales Administrator to join a leading and bespoke Logistics and Distribution company based in Rugby.

Hours of work are 40 hours Monday - Friday.

As Marketing & Sales Administrator you will provide day to day marketing administration support to the business, and most specifically the sales and marketing teams.
This is a varied and challenging role that will require a creative, confident and motivated individual. It is essential that you are a self-starter, well organised and can demonstrate an attention to detail. Strong communication skills are vital - when dealing with customers over the telephone or in writing - as well as working with colleagues.
The main day-to-day activities of the role include,

* Administering the lead generation marketing process, via an agreed work flow process, including:
o Sending out Direct Mail pieces to target lists
o Sending out follow up emails
o Liaising with the Social Media Executive & Sales Manager to co-ordinate communication activity
o Monitoring response levels and passing leads onto the sales team
o Maintaining relevant IT systems and databases
* Administering the sales enquiry process, via an agreed work flow process, including:
o Dealing with the initial sales enquires that come in via a variety of sources,
e.g. email, phone or social media
o Sending follow up emails and making phone calls
o Sending out marketing /sales information packs
o Scheduling sales calls, demonstrations and follow ups
o Maintaining relevant IT systems and databases
* Administering the product training planning process, via an agreed work flow process, including:
o Scheduling training sessions and events, along with follow ups
o Issuing certificates post training
o Maintaining relevant IT systems and databases
* Administering other aspects of our customer marketing support activity, including:
o Using agreed template designs to create bespoke marketing materials for customer events and general marketing support.
o Creating other sales and marketing related documents and emails etc, as and when required, on a project by project basis.
o Maintaining the general sales and marketing IT systems, including the backdating of relevant data as required.
o Generating and maintaining target lists for sales and marketing team, from profiles provided
o To generally support the sales and marketing teams in the requirement for administration activities.
* Any other duties as may be required within the scope and purpose of the role.

Essential requirements:
* GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths grade A-C
* High level of IT proficiency, comfortable with Office software.
* Previous experience in administration
* A knowledge of the purpose and place of marketing and how it fits within a business.
* Strong project management/organisational skills
* Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
* Fluent written & spoken English skills
* Enthusiastic
* Willing to learn
* Team player
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
