An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a Global Brand Manager based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 9 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying between £50k and £58K per annum. pro rata, depending on experience.

Travel to London required weekly and some International travel abroad required

A role in Pepsi Lipton is unique experience that will allow you to rapidly develop and will add value to your career. It is a Joint Venture between Unilever and PepsiCo to manufacture and sell Lipton Ice Tea and operates across the globe.

Main Purpose
The role of the Global Brand Manager is to drive the delivery of the global brand positioning on Ice tea - to harness and bring to life the "Lipton brand experience" through visual, and packaging identity to agreed milestones and timelines, always delivering to the very highest standard. The role will be working in close partnership with the Global Brand Director to develop and execute across key regions on the core Lipton Ice Tea brand.

Specifically including leadership projects on global brand identity, global brand design, leading the communication of brand identity globally (out of home experience).

Additionally the role will partner with the Global Foodservice team to drive the out of home agenda globally to drive trial and penetration in each of the five markets.

The role works in close partnership with Regional Marketing teams across the world and our core Design and communication agencies.
Specific activities include:
* Manage global brand equity via strategic/IBC input and leveraging the role of design. The assigned brand manager will work closely together with Lipton Leaf team to lead vision on the long term brand equity- visual identity of the brand and what it means for ice tea. Key deliverable in 2017 will be a new brand experience / visual identity toolkit for ice tea.
* This role covers leadership for the next generation of global Lipton 2D design across all markets around the world for launch longer term - 2019/20.
* Also to lead all design related projects and ensure their outstanding execution in the markets, for example
Drive the development of new 3D packaging designs
Lead the development of the Lipton Ice Tea brand guard rails
Lead the optimisation and roll out of any new pack graphics
Lead the development of new Point of Sale materials to transform the Lipton
InStore and Out of Home experience
* Co-create concepts with consumers to lead the next platform of Lipton Limited editions- how to build a role for our packaging and design in social/viral and lead communications on packaging through limited editions.
* Partnering with Global Foodservice team to develop and roll out the Lipton Ice Tea 'Perfect Serve' to help premiumise the Lipton Out of Home experience. Support their global toolkits for out of home experience to be used by local markets
o Coordinate and share best practice examples of successful in-market execution of out of home principles
* Work with Insights and research agencies to develop and validate key projects for the inclusion in the company's IGP
* Analysis of the global RTD market to identify & confirm key market opportunities and unmet consumer need-states for RTD tea

Person Profile
The candidate should have a real passion and aesthetics for marketing, brand experience and design equity with a successful track record of brand management, communications and preferably experience in graphics design management in a regional or global role. Specific competencies include:
