Are you a passionate eCommerce professional seeking your next challenge? Want to oversee the creation of a new online retail business for a lifesaving charity? If so, we would love to hear from you.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We are now looking for an eCommerce Marketing Manager to join our team on a contract lasting up to 16 months.

In this important role, you’ll have the chance to hit the ground running and support an ambitious project that will have an immediate impact on the charity’s success.

As the eCommerce Marketing Manager, you will set-up, launch and manage the RNLI’s new online retail business.

Joining a close-knit team, you’ll initially work alongside the Project Manager to develop and launch the online store in 2018.

You’ll develop an efficient and profitable business that attracts new supporters to the charity and meets the needs of current supporters.

Once the store is launched, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the online retail and mail order business, ensuring rapid growth and a profitable return on investment.

To be considered, you will need:

- eCommerce experience with a high street retailer, ideally across multiple categories
- Experience of managing relationships with creative and/or media agencies
- Strong project and budget management experience
- A track record of managing multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships
- A degree level qualification, ideally in a marketing communications or retail related discipline

Commercially aware and self-motivated, as the eCommerce Marketing Manager, you’ll have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A collaborative approach and superb multi-tasking abilities are also key.

Please note, the closing date for applications is 2nd August 2017. Interviews are scheduled to be held on 7th August 2017 at our HQ in Poole.

If you are looking for a flexible working arrangement, please include in your personal statement what your preferred working arrangements would be.

Our staff and volunteers have been saving lives at sea without prejudice for nearly 200 years. We respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives within our teams, and consider it essential to help us deliver a world-class lifesaving service. We are an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone. In addition to having the skills needed for the role, we also look for applicants who share our commitment to living our RNLI values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping us work towards our goals of halving drowning in the UK and Ireland by 2024. This involves a growing commitment to preventative action, using our expertise to work in partnership with communities locally, nationally and internationally to prevent drowning.
