A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Co-ordinator to join a family run manufacturing entrepreneurial business in the Scottish Borders but with a global presence.

Your role will be key to the continued success of our client’s business service and products. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is creative, can think outside the box, is motivated and ambitious and is very results driven. You will have been working in a similar role for at least two years and have a relevant qualification or demonstrable experience, ideally you will have knowledge in B2B marketing.

Key Duties:

Co-ordinate event logistics (exhibitions, conferences and submission of abstracts)
Print management for exhibition promotional materials
Collation of information for promotional literature
Management of website content, through CMS system, keeping it fresh and up to date
Liaise with suppliers and agencies
Liaise with all disciplines across the business
Provide multi-channel analysis on company’s activities
Targeted marketing support of the sales department
Assisting with development and CRM, including Salesforce database management
Co-ordinate the production of product specific literature and other customer facing documentation
Provide assistance in developing internet presence and improving search engine ratings

Essential Skills:

Sound understanding of marketing principles
Good organisational and time management skills
Team player as well as being able to work independently, self-motivated and driven to complete tasks and drive change for the better
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
IT literate with a solid understanding of the Microsoft Office package. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop would be beneficial
Commercially astute, aware of the dynamics of a global marketing place
Creative with a keen eye for detail and an interest in design
Ability to interpret technical jargon and explain the product benefits to the customer
