Bluetree are working for a fabulous B2B Marketing agency that is made up a very close knit team who specialise in finding creative but practical solutions to all kinds of marketing problems. They are incredibly proud of the work they produce, coming up with novel solutions to even the most difficult of problems.

They are looking to recruit a Graphic Designer who will be responsible for producing high-quality visuals that convey their clients’ messages and that of the business. The visuals will typically be used in brochures, guides, whitepapers, infographics, motion graphics, websites and applications, sales guides, cheat sheets, emails and presentations. You will be reporting into the Design Team Manager.

Key activities
• Laying out copy following brand guidelines
• Creating charts, diagrams and illustrations
• Discussing feedback and amending layouts accordingly
• Storyboarding videos
• Using source data to create accurate graphs and data visualisations
• Selecting and retouching stock photography

Scheduling and admin:
• Learning about client brand guidelines
• Helping colleagues accurately quote for projects
• Liaising with project managers about plans and timings
• Packaging artwork for electronic or print distribution
• Carrying out job closure processes

Success factors
Designers will be targeted to meet objectives in three key areas:
• Quality of work
 Creativity - creating documents with visual impact, flow and style, and contributing ideas for executing campaign objectives
 Consistency - adhering to templates, best practices and brand guidelines
 Attention to detail - keeping copy, design, and document metadata free of errors; adhering to legal and copyright demands
• Production
 Timeliness - hitting deadlines agreed, balancing conflicting demands from multiple clients and reporting on progress
 Efficiency - working within our budgets; commercial awareness
• Service
 Client service - being helpful, constructive and responsive in dealings with customers
 Internal collaboration - helping teammates with their problems and being flexible to changing business needs
 Productivity
 At least 75% of hours billable

Specific targets may be set on an individual basis and will be assessed as appropriate by the designer’s manager.

Designers will be expected to have significant experience of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other tools and keep these skills up to date.
