The Opportunity

Due to development and growth across the region, The NHS Solent are looking for an experienced HR professional who is looking to expand into Learning and Development to implement Management training processes, deliver management coaching and Employee Relations support throughout NHS sites across Hampshire. This will include: Hospitals, GP surgeries and Dental practices. Role responsibilities include:


* Providing coaching and support to the management team in terms of development and performance management.
* Offering guidance on HR policies and processes.
* Involvement in all employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
* Delivery of induction training for new starters, consistently updating welcome pack information.

Learning and Development / Training

* To understand the needs of the organisation to be able to devise and adapt appropriate training programmes to equip managers.
* To roll out and deliver a programme of training to managers in a structured manner. Designing training and learning material in line with business requirements
* Presenting and delivering training and methods associated with learning
* Creating and scoping standardised operating procedures
* Co-ordinating all relevant training activities
* Supporting on rolling out new learning initiatives in the business

The Ideal HR and Learning and Development Advisor:

We are looking for someone who has proven experience in HR, and perhaps wanting to move into a Learning and Development position. You may be a L&D professional with HR experience who is looking to move across into a position focused towards HR learning and development strategies and implementation

The ideal HR and Learning and Development Advisor will have excellent communication skills and will look to seize the opportunity and really take ownership of this role. We are looking for someone who the tenacity and enthusiasm to excel in this role.

The successful candidate must have a Driving license as the role will involve travel between sites.

You will Receive

In return for your hard work as our HR Learning and Development Advisor, you will receive a salary of up to 32,000 as well as a generous Pension Scheme and Fuel Allowance.
