My client, a corporate events management company in central Bristol are recruiting for a venue finder/ office assistant to cover maternity for 6 months.

You will be working for an event management agency. They arrange global conferences, incentive travel and domestic Gala Dinners, Charity Balls and various other corporate events.

We are looking for a candidate to cover a 6-month maternity leave starting from Monday 18th Sept 2017.

The ideal candidate will ideally have a travel, hotel or events background and must be a quick learner and good at working under pressure. The candidate must be computer literate (ideally on a MAC), a second language would be beneficial, however this is not necessary.

You will provided with all of the tools and contacts to assist with the position.

The candidate will be responsible for finding suitable venues to match client's briefs for conferences - meetings - incentive travel and events using initiative and previous knowledge. A good knowledge of global geography is preferred but not essential.

Primary roles include:

-  Venue Finding
-  General office administration (when required)
-  Meeting suppliers and forging relationships with hotels and venues

Salary £17K to £22K subject to experience
