We are currently recruiting for an SQE Advisor to join our communications division working on the Virgin media contract in the North East.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the establishment, implementation, management and monitoring of Safety and Environmental systems and processes, with a view to achieving continuous improvement, risk reduction and a safe working environment on site. To ensure contract delivery to the highest standards, consistent always with current legislation, Industry Standards and client requirements.

The main duties will include, although not limited to, promoting and managing McNicholas policies and procedures and best practice at all times, undertake SQE audits/inspections regularly on projects and sites, undertaking Accident / Incident Investigations, ensure SHE competence levels of all staff and contractors and reviewed training matrix implemented and submitting regular reports ensuring regular SHE communication both up and down the organisational structure

The ideal candidate for this role will be a specialist with appropriate qualifications, including minimum NEBOSH Certificate, have a minimum 3 years practical experience operating in the construction industry , be a strong team player with ability to communicate at all levels.
