My client is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work full time within an adult's team in Staffordshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services, be registered with the HCPC and have a current DBS.

The pay rate for this senior practitioner role is negotiable up to £30 per hour based on interview and experience.

Senior Practitioner duties include:
- Supervising up to 6 social workers in a busy safeguarding team
- Managing a caseload which includes vulnerable users and / or those with complex problems, taking action where necessary to protect the users and others in emergency situations
- Planning relevant responses to meet individual needs in collaboration with relatives, carers, advocates and representatives, and in consultation with health and other agencies
- Securing the delivery, within the financial resources available, of services to meet assessed needs
- Strategy discussion and person centre working

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
