Key Skills for Administrators

The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:

* Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
* Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
* Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
* Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
* Preparing routine correspondence

Key Skills for a Secretary

The Temporary Worker will provide high-level diverse secretarial and administrative duties for one or two key senior managers, exercising independent judgment and discretion in performing tasks. Examples of duties will include but not be restricted to:

* Composing non-routine correspondence
* Compiling reports
* Transcribing dictation
* Typing documents, using word processor or spreadsheet software
* Receiving visitors
* Screening and directing manager's telephone calls
* Diary management
* Arranging meetings or travel

Although it is not essential to the role civil service experience and relevant security clearances would be desirable.
