Opportunity for a Clinical Lead who solely wants to cover night shifts, with a 48 hrs per week contract

Based at Beeston, West Yorkshire

Hours of work 48 hours per week

Pay Scale From £38, 272 to £39, 936 (based on £16.00 per hour)

Rota Pattern 4 x Night Shifts - Mon - Sun, 7.45pm - 7.45am with flexibility to also work days

Hays Healthcare is excited to be working with one of Leeds' most respected providers of supported living and social care for older people. The Clinical Lead vacancy is for an award-winning 25 bed residential home and 30 bed nursing home with 'Extra Care Plus' apartments in Beeston, Leeds.

Your role as the Clinical Lead Night Care will be to ensure that all customers consistently receive care that is person-focused and promotes health and well-being.

You will lead by example in the delivery of care that promotes quality, respect, dignity, independence and choice for every customer.

You will proactively identify and agree opportunities to improve the care offered to meet the changing needs of new and existing customers there by exceeding their expectations.

You will be required to attend statutory training programmes, plus additional training and progression.

Essential criteria for a successful candidate:

* Must hold a first level Registered Nurse Qualification with a current NMC professional identification number
* Experience in care of older people
* Excellent clinical knowledge and skills
* Previous management experience in a health and/or social care setting

* Prepared to develop self and undergo training
* To have numeracy and literacy levels appropriate to the standard required for the job role
* To have clear spoken English and excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High standard of personal hygiene and appearance
* Willing to work shifts/weekends/nights and Bank Holidays on a rota basis

Desirable Additional Factors

* Leadership and management qualification
* Experience or qualification in delivering training

* Be prepared to bring other skills to the workplace to enhance the customer's individual lifestyle choices.

Annual Leave Entitlement: The annual leave year runs from 1st April to 31st March following. The full entitlement is 6 weeks (inclusive of Bank Holidays) for a full year and pro rata for an incomplete year's service. Annual leave is restricted for all staff over the Christmas/New Year period.
