James Horne is recruiting for a Process Control Technician to join a world leading supplier of collagen casings for the food industry. This role will be located across their two state of the art Glasgow facilities on a permanent, full time basis.

With ideally experience in a manufacturing environment and good communication skills, the main purpose of your role will to collect data and carry out a wide range of quality checks throughout the production process.

Further responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that all stages of the manufacturing process are completed within set specifications whilst maintaining high levels of quality.
- Optimising manufacturing performance.
- Provide effective communication and leadership to Process Operators in order to fulfil high levels of productivity.
- Provide consistent analysis for helping to provide decisions on process development.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Educated to a minimum of HND or Degree level in a science or quality based discipline.
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision.
