A family run care group currently requires two RNs with extensive senior/operational management level experience in elderly care to work as Head of Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance Manager.

The roles will involve frequent travel throughout all the services and to Head Office in West London, although the successful candidates will be based at the care home closest to their home.

The successful candidates will cover up to 20 homes in the Midlands, the South and the South East and will involve developing, implementing, and reviewing quality assurance and management systems. You will focus on primarily meeting and exceeding all statutory requirements and essential standards.

Both roles involve a 40 hour working week and offer a car allowance of £5,000.

The annual salary for the Head of Quality Assurance is a very competitive £75,000, and the Quality Assurance Manager role offers an excellent annual salary of £60,000.

Candidates for both posts will meet the following criteria, although the Head of Quality Assurance role does require a more experienced candidate;

• NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN
• Have completed a recognised management in care qualification such as NVQ4, QCF5, RMA
• Extensive experience in a senior or operational management role within a UK health and social care setting, with in depth working knowledge of CQC requirements, Health and Safety legislation and the Care Standards Act
• Knowledge of policies, legislation and best practices relating to care of the elderly and those with dementia
• Experienced in project management, developing and implementing policies and procedures, problem solving and change management
• Proactive, motivated and with the ability and confidence to get to the root cause of an issue and effectively resolve it
• A strong leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and able to motivate and develop a team and promote a culture of continuous improvement
