James Horne is recruiting for a QC Analyst to join a leading supplier of pharmaceutical packaging supplies to the healthcare industry. This role will be located in their Newcastle facility on a permanent basis at a time when the company is experiencing growth and expanding by building a new state of the art analytical facility.

The main purpose of your role will be to provide testing to timescales in order to support the business needs and actively participating in project work.

Further responsibilities will include:
- Analysing raw materials, intermediates, APIs and packaging materials.
- Preparation and analysis of stability studies and samples.
- Ensuring all work is carried out to cGMP and strict industry compliance standards.
- Ensuring high levels of communications and relations with all members of the team are maintained at all times.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- BSc in Chemistry or a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experienced in the use of wet chemistry techniques including HPLC, FTIR and data capture systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of GMP and GLP practices.
