Our client, a leading media company are looking for a Delegate Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity to work for a company that describes themselves as serial innovators, are adopting new technologies ensuring that they are always keeping their client at the centre of everything they do.


* Managing personal sales activity
* Writing and implementing a sales plan with the ambition of exceeding targets
* Demonstrating a clear understanding of the points in the conference cycle at which sales revenue growth can be influenced
* Working with marketing and conference producers to ensure that opportunities are maximised in a timely fashion
* Maintaining clear visibility of key metrics including the financials across the portfolio of events to support accurate forecasting including volume of past attendees and expected retention rates, pricing strategy and personal negotiation outlines, yield and volume of orders at specific yields targeted and actual, actual and forecast order volumes and value and actual and forecast total revenue per conference
* Ensuring that time is focused on driving growth through ruthless daily focus on individual activity, ensuring that individual call times are consistently high and achieving the minimum requirement set by your manager
* Maintaining a deep understanding of the value proposition for events and proactively seeking thorough briefs
* Tracking personal and delegate team activity and revenue and maintaining use of the pipelines and processes

Essential Skills and Behaviour:

* Ambitious, curious, personal integrity, great communication
* IT Experience and familiar with general computer use including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Experienced in selling delegate or awards sales is an advantage but not essential
* This role will suit someone with some sales experience, but is also an opportunity for the right individual to learn sales in this role
