Are you looking for a new role as a Sales Representative? Are you interested in joining an office based technical sales team? If the answer is yes, this role is for you!

The Sales Representative will be working for a client that distributes various top ranges of equipment required for laboratories. This role offers great career opportunities to the right individual. This is an exciting permanent opportunity working for a leading client based in York.

Duties:

* Specifying, preparing and emailing out quotations
* Answering technical queries as part of the quotation process
* Prospecting for new business and closing sales
* Completing public sector tenders
* Assisting in developing our export business

Education and Experience:

* Maths and English GSCE grade C and above
* Previous experience in a telephone based role
* Strong IT skills
* Experience in a similar role ideally, but not essential
* A knowledge of laboratory equipment or a background in life sciences would be an advantage but is not essential
