A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Graduate Developer to join a market leading company who are the largest company within their sector.

The Graduate Developer will be have a genuine passion and willingness to Develop and grow their skills and will have the opportunity to work with the following technologies:

- .NET

- C#



- AngularJS

- Entity Framework (An understanding of all these languages up-front is not required, however a can-do attitude towards learning is needed)

The Graduate Developer will work in a SCRUM team made up typically of 4 developers, a Business Analyst and a QA. Teams work in a SCRUM method, with 1 or 2 week sprints, and regular releases to Production.

The Junior role within the team will be expected to contribute in every area, but with a greater level of support and assistance from your team-mates and Manager.

The Graduate Developer will be involved in;

• Engage in planning with the Team Lead and BA to ensure a full understanding of the customer requirement

• Contribute to design and estimating sessions

• Work closely with your Team Lead to deliver the required functionality in accordance with agreed standards

• Prove the quality of your code before handover to QA

• Promote code to the end user during out-of-hours releases

• Contribute to the design of Automated Testing and Automated Deployment solutions

• Be responsible for investigating and resolving issues in the systems owned by the team


• Web Developer skills (Html, CSS) including a keen interest in usability and the user experience

• An understanding of Object Oriented Development

• Exposure to at least one of the following

o Classic ASP


o Visual Basic / VB.Net

o C#

o Java

• An understanding of how JavaScript can be used to modify a web page

• An understanding of Relational DB systems, including an ability to write SQL statements

• Keen problem solving/bug finding skills

• A willingness to work in a complex architectural environment

• A willingness to invest time and energy in continually improving your skillset
