G-Tec is a privately owned sub-contract electronics company (CEM) we design and manufacture complex PCB products for a variety of local and national electronics companies. We manufacture with leading edge technology and have a reputation for providing high quality products with a professional and friendly service.

We are seeking a customer support person to join our small and friendly sales team. The role will be based from our production facility in Aldershot Hampshire, therefore the successful candidate will need to easily commute on a daily basis.

The role is part of our first line contact for customers looking to use our sub-contract services for electronic manufacturing. The role and covers a range of activities in relation to managing customer requirements.

- Creating and providing detailed quotations and estimates, using a range of ERP and spreadsheets. This involves inputting detailed part numbers into MRP systems, creating bespoke spreadsheets in Excel, looking up commercial and technical data. The role requires a high degree of accuracy with numerous software tools.

- Working with issue controlled electronic data/drawings and commercial information and data.

- Collating and prioritising inbound emails, such as RFI's & RFQ's and completing contract review and detailed order administrative processes.

- Liaising with internal departments, QA, procurement, engineering and external suppliers to organise and generate costing information.

- Talking with customers on a daily basis: Including order/project specific information, follow up and feedback calls, promoting our services.

- Monitoring and reporting on production projects, from initial RFQ to final delivery, reporting to customers with updated information.

- Entering data into CRM module to generate reports, tracking and managing ongoing customer contact.

- Follow up on quotes/tenders discussing price and lead time issues, along with customer general support queries.

Min level: 4 GCSEs grade C or above will be required. (Ideally Maths, English and a science or IT subject)
