Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

4 on 4 off shifts
£38,000 + Overtime + Benefits + Training

Main Purpose of the Role
To work as a high level Electrical maintenance engineer for an international food manufacturing company that supply to all major retailers.

The Person
You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach, and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;
* Electrically qualified in a maintenance discipline (NVQ level 3 minimum, ideally apprentice trained)
* Have experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment (3 years +)
* Have knowledge of PLC systems and electronic components
* Confident in your ability to diagnose and rectify faults in a pressurised environment, always looking for ways to improve production and not just firefight.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring that production machinery is running at optimum efficiency through fault finding and repair
* Carrying out pre-planned maintenance on the machinery during downtime
* Carry out projects and assist with installations of new production lines.
* identify and implement plans that will improve efficiencies

Salary and Benefits
£38k + OT + training
