Job Title: Trainee Door Engineer
Area: Nationwide Installations
Based out of: Bristol
Reports To: Senior Engineer
Hourly Rate: £8.00 to £9.50 Dependant on Experience
Basis: Permanent Full Time

Trainee Door Engineer Job Purpose / Key Role:

The successful Trainee Door Engineer work along side a qualified and experience door engineer whilst leaning and developing your ability to become a independent and self-sufficient engineer installing industrial doors. (Roller & Fire Shutters, Industrial Sectional & Bi Folding, Speed Doors.)

Trainee Door Engineer Main Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Installation of commercial doors on new build construction site through to retro fit to existing buildings.
• Have a good understanding and ability in DIY, engineering or construction.
• Have a clean driving license and experience of driving light commercial vehicles.
• Motivated to learn and progress in the role .
• Provide high quality workmanship and communication.
• Develop and maintain client and co-worker relationships.

It would be advantageous to hold suitable qualifications :

• NVQ level 2, CSCS Card, IPAF, SSSTS, BS7036.
