An established and leading automotive manufacturing firm, based in rural East Leicester, are seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding maintenance operation.

THE ROLE:

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities and update the schedules on the system
- Providing mechanical and electrical breakdown cover for all activities on plant including moulding machines, automation equipment and ancillary equipment
- Advise on specification of new manufacturing equipment ensuring that it will not provide any problems when it comes to servicing and maintenance
- Fault finding through a methodical approach
- Advise, instruct and train colleagues on equipment

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

- Previous Maintenance Engineering experience within a busy workshop/manufacturing environment
- Electrical bias, 17th Edition qualifications are desirable
- In depth knowledge of conveyor and pneumatic systems
- Hard working and highly motivated
- Able to work using own initiative and can also mix well with other engineers

THE PACKAGE:

- This is a full time opportunity paying up to £32k per annum, depending on your experience and qualification levels.
- Rotating Shifts, 6am to 2pm Mon - Fri, 2pm to 12am Mon - Thurs
