My client are global leaders in the supply of flow control equipment, fittings and valves. They supply these to various market sectors which include Waste Water, Water, Oil & Gas and Fire Protection.

My client will provide full business specific training, long term development and unrivalled further opportunities. The role will be based initially in Staveley, Chesterfield moving towards field based with travel throughout the UK. The main elements of the role include:

* Communicating with customers to clarify requirements and advising pricing, lead times and delivery dates.
* Provide quotations and prices to customers and maintain quotation log.
* Sales order processing and the raising of purchase orders.
* Maintaining a clean order book
* Respond to telephone enquiries and correspondence from customers.
* Increase sales by advising customers of products that complement or support the ones they are ordering.
* Liaise with suppliers & technical support to ensure our quotations meet customer's requirements.
* Assist and support Customer Service Manager, Key Account Managers and Product Manager as and when required.
* Monitor and report performance against Key Performance Indicators.
* Raise discrepancy complaint forms when required.
* Assist with customer complaints.
* Manage the customer data base ensuring it is up to date and accurate
* Assist with CRM data input as and when required
* Export and general admin duties.
* Ensure you show regard for your fellow colleagues.
* Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
* Ensure all Company procedures are always followed.

Initially the successful candidate will work as a Gradate Account Co-Ordinator eventually leading to a Graduate Sales Engineer. The successful candidate will be degree qualified preferably from a Science background and have the following skills:

* University Degree Ideally Science or Engineering.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Computer literate
* Able to work on own initiative
* Effective Negotiator
* Must have an aptitude towards engineering
* Practical Engineering aptitude
* Sales or Engineering role
* Personable and confident Self-motivated, organised, credible, reliable and determined
* Ability to work under pressure
* Team player
* Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability
* Professional in approach
* Business like in appearance
* Able to work extended hours when required. Able to stay away from home on a regular basis
* Able to travel and work at other sites and customers when required
* Must have clean or near clean driving licence

In return my client will provide:

* A starting salary of £25,000
* 35 hours per week
* Training and Development
* Pension scheme
