A market-leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing organisation based in Liverpool is currently looking to add to their warehouse team with the introduction of a Senior Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations. With previous experience in a Pharmaceutical warehouse following GMP/GDP guidelines, the successful candidate will be familiar with a highly regulated environment.

With experience in organising distribution in both national and internationally operating organisations, you will be confident in organising deliveries across countries. You will be responsible for the increasing scale of a distribution environment and be able to manage operations of varying scale. As a flexible and organised individual you will be able to multi-task with the ability to communicate updates to senior management on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and co-ordinate the incoming goods, storage and dispatch of items in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure the safe and accurately documented receipt of all incoming stock of externally sourced materials and goods
• Manage the accurate and timely preparation of orders for manufacturing processes in line with the manufacturing schedule
• Work closely with the Purchasing department to ensure adequate stock Ievels
• Oversee and plan picking activity in line with business requirements
• Ensure the accurate management of stock
• Ensure all dispatches are prepared and documentation is completed in a timely manner and in line with customer requirements for safe delivery
• Lead stock takes and cycle counts to minimize inaccurate stock reporting
• Proactively manage health & safety and actively promote safe working practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all staff and compliance with all statutory requirements
• Agree KPls and present accurate management reporting on a regular basis
• Ensure all employees are fully trained against all standard operating procedures and training records and appropriate licenses are up to date
• Assess the performance of direct reports and overall warehouse team on an on-going basis both informally and formally via coaching and formal assessments
• Ensure effective housekeeping through regular audits
• Communicate to the teams through the effective use of formal and informal methods,
• To promote team working within warehouse and with all relevant departments
• To manage the teams through all applicable company procedures

Key Skills:
• Experienced in Warehouse Supervision within a Pharmaceutical or FMCG environment
• Experience of working with MRP Systems
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities
• Appropriate forklift truck licenses
• Experience in promoting an environment of Health & Safety and creation of risk assessments
• Experience in managing teams and team performance across multiple shift patterns

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Warehouse Manager looking for a new position in Liverpool. As a pharmaceutical warehouse supervisor, you will be experienced in a variety of logistic positions of varying sizes. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate confidence and outstanding knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
