Finance Assistant - Budget Management - Automotive - 33535

Position Description:
- Management of annual budget, payment schedules and invoicing - approx. £12m/year budget.
- Support the generation of the annual budget
- Manage the generation of SAP carts through to PO issuing including all changes.
- Manage and Report Budget vs Actuals using the departmental Dash Board
- Develop plans to meet targets - time and material and fixed price contracts.
- Interact with suppliers to police resource changes and update the resource database
- Develop process improvement process's and tools to improve business efficiency
- Support other functions and roles within Business Planning as requested

Required:
1) Excellent MS Excel Skills. Experienced SAP user. Accountancy skills
2) Experience of Managing Budgets
3) Comfortable with dealing with functional Line Managers, Senior Managers and Suppliers on a regular basis.

Experience Required:
- The ideal candidate will have good general business background which may have been obtained within a Finance / Accounting or a Business Planning Role.
- Experience of organisations within the automotive sector would be potentially of benefit, although candidates from outside of this sector would be considered
- Candidates ideally should possess a minimum of a HNC/HND in a Business related field

This role would suit a candidate who is comfortable with working with the minimum of supervision, who is consistently capable managing and producing accurate data.
