A Technical Assistant Manager working within a Halfords Autocentre is a true right hand man or woman!Across the UK our Assistant Managers are supporting Centre Managers to deliver a first class customer experience within a busy and demanding environment.

- You will also be working with your workshop colleagues ensuring our Technicians are focused, and have everything they need to keep producing high quality work.

- An Autocentre Assistant Manager regularly steps in and runs the centre independently to cover the Centre Manager`s leave and absences.

Tools for the Job:

Successful Technical Assistant Managers often come from within the motor trade having experience of working as Workshop Controllers, Parts Managers, Service Advisors or Senior Vehicle Technicians; however equally talented retail or trade management calibre candidates are also very much of interest.

- A key attribute our Assistant Managers need is to demonstrate they can adopt a customer focused approach to everything that they do.

- They are great communicators, supportive to their colleagues and possess personal drive and ambition to succeed.

- Many of our Centre Managers joined us as Assistant Managers.
