An excellent opportunity on offer for a Mechanic looking to join a well-established, stable company that can offer specialist training to become an Automatic Gearbox Rebuilder.

Are you a Mechanic/Vehicle Technician? Do you want to become a specialist in Automatic Gearbox rebuilding?

This company was established 46 years ago, and specialise in rebuilding automatic gearboxes in the automotive industry. The company have grown from strength to strength and are currently looking for an experienced mechanic to join their highly skilled team.

In this role you will receive excellent training to become a specialist Automatic Gearbox Rebuilder. You will also perform general service and repairs on vehicles, as well as working in the machine shop to fabricate and repair parts.

This role would therefore ideally suit and experienced Mechanic, looking to further their career and specialise in Automatic Gearbox Rebuilding.

The Role

To repair, overhaul and service gearboxes, fans and associated ancillary equipment
* Working in house to OEM specifications
* Excellent Training
* £27'000 - £28'000 + Overtime + Benefits

The Person

* An experienced Mechanic
Have the ability to fault find and identify and rectify defects and worn / damaged components
* Have experience working with gearboxes in some manner
