Summary

The suitable applicant would provide expertise in the implementation of continuous improvement tools and techniques against the sites MPS plan. Analyses and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.

Core Responsibilities:

- Effectively applies improvement initiatives and all related activities in the facility

- Assists in training and skills enhancement for all employees with respect to continuous improvement tools and techniques.

Such as;

* Lean Manufacturing
* Production System
* 5S
* Value Stream Mapping
* Standard Work
* KPI

- Assist in rolling out safety principles which will work towards a safer working environment.

- Participates in providing technical expertise and implements lean principles, techniques and methods

-Exposure to programming languages or scripting with a strong logical aptitude is also desired. Knowledge of VB, Java script, and .net framework would be an added advantage

- The primary duties of this job require administrative, non-manual work directly related to business operations involving responsibility for processes and policies of significance, evaluation of possible solutions and results of the work for which the employee is responsible and making recommendations and/or decisions accordingly.

Qualifications:

* -Education; Degree qualified, Manufacturing, Engineering (preferably in an electrical discipline biased)
* - Years' experience: 2+ in a manufacturing environment.

* Strong communications skills with the ability to demonstrate culture changing strategies and soft interpersonal tools
