Sewell Wallis have been engaged on an exciting new recruitment project for one of their leading clients who are looking to expand their finance team.

Our client is a UK leading service provider which sits as part of a global group. They have become a market leader within their industry and have developed an instantly recognisable brand. They are highly focused on customer service and delivering strong solutions to a diverse customer base including a range of small and large companies.

One of the key roles that they are looking to recruit is for a Cash Application Team Leader to sit in their Sale office in Manchester. Reporting directly to the Credit Control Manager you will provide daily support and guidance to the Cash Application team.

Your responsibilities will include the following:-
-Producing regular team activity reports, KPI reports and development plans to ensure standards are consistent across the business
-Responsible for a large ledger including high volume collection on small and large value invoices
-Responding to any customer queries and disputes surrounding invoices
-Reconciling customer accounts and ensuring accurate posting and allocation of all daily incoming BACS, cheques and credit card payments
-Prioritising all customer escalation queries and working with the different teams to resolve them as efficiently and quickly as possible
-Create team workshop sessions to assist with any training needs
-Working across the business with other departments where customer insight and knowledge is required

The ideal candidate will have:-
-Previous experience in a B2B customer service role
-Previous experience of SAP would be highly advantageous
-Previous people management experience
-Experience in handling a variety of inbound requests and queries
